What a success!!!!! Irish International Christmas Tree Throwing Championships 8/1/17

A great afternoon of fun was had by all who attended the 6th Irish International Christmas Tree Throwing Championships at Tim Smythe Park last Sunday, 8th January.  Over 200 people competed in the various age categories, our highest number ever.  The winners are:

OVERALL WINNER AND BEST MENS: John Leahy, Lissycasey

LADIES WINNER: Jean Wyse, Ennis with a throw of 5metres

MALE TEENS & KIDS WINNERS: Art O Rourke, Ennis & Eoin Duggan, Ennis

FEMALE TEENS & KIDS WINNERS: Eimear Finucane, Kilmihil & Mary Burke, Ennis

WINNER OF THE 12 MONTH FAMILY MEMBERSHIP OF ACTIVE ENNIS LEISURE COMPLEX: Tadhg Duffy, Ennis

Over €300 was donated to the Mid West Rape Crisis Centre on the day, so thanks for all who contributed
