All parents/ guardians must have a form filled out and return to Active Ennis leisure complex for each child taking part in the January 2023 lessons before they start their classes.

Description: Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise using a floor mat or a variety of equipment. It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates and can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Pilates builds strength without excess bulk, capable of creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. (Yeah, we know – who doesn’t want that?)

Description: Boot camp classes incorporate many different aspects of fitness from cardio, circuit training, aerobic exercises, weight training and flexibility. Boot camp classes are always great fun but tough and proven to get results! Each week your fitness level will increase along with the intensity of your workout. This creates a metabolic effect that helps you lose weight, get fit and tone up in the shortest time possible.
Level: All levels welcome
Class Times: Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 6pm – 7pm
If you miss a class during the week, feel free to join in on Saturday 9-10AM

Cost: €70 for 4 weeks (3 classes per week) / €60 for 4 weeks (2 classes per week)
Description:Chair Fitness is a wide range of chair and floor exercises designed to help older adults achieve optimal health, fitness, and a quality of life. These classes are designed to help improve muscle tone, strength and flexibility in a group setting. It will also help improve posture and overall fitness.

Description: Workout fads come and go, but virtually no other exercise program is as enduring as yoga. It’s been around for more than 5,000 years.Yoga does more than burn calories and tone muscles. It’s a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation.

Description: Body Blast class involves an all over body workout – usually about 30 minutes aerobic and 30 minutes strength and toning make up the class time. Toning is done using free weights, bands, bars, TRX and bosu balls. It can be great fun, but it’s always a lot of hard work so commitment levels must be high, as must your motivation levels! Great for toning up, firming your arms, legs and abdominal. It can also help you to improve your general cardiovascular workout routine which will provide you with a better circulatory system and aid with increasing your fitness and endurance levels.

Description: This low impact exercise increases mobility, improves your lower body and leg strength and works on better balance and more energy. All positive reasons to join us, have fun and make time for you!

Description: Our aqua fit classes are tailored to suit all ages, it is a good workout to strengthen your muscles and improve your cardiovascular fitness, without subjecting your body to additional wear and tear. Our class is also beneficial for people recovering from injuries and without stressing those vulnerable joints.

Class Times: Monday night 8.45 – 9.45pm and Tuesday & Friday mornings 10 – 11am

Cost: €7.50 (golden years rate is €5, member rate is €4)
Description: This class lasts half an hour and is a combination of cardio, flexibility, toning, HIIT, TRX, strength and conditioning.

Description: Step Aerobics class is designed to increase cardiovascular efficency moving from high to low impact. Helps with toning. So get moving and have fun!

Description: This dance based workout class is guaranteed to make you sweat, followed by some gentle yoga, suitable for everybody and every body!
